Hello! I’m Chandima Samarasinghe.
Back in early 2014, I was just a student with a dream of entering the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Peradeniya. Around that time, I purchased this domain with the hope of building my own software development brand (SAUSECODE LABS)—and I did.
I started off by self-learning Android development and began publishing apps to the Google Play Store. Over time, my interest expanded into game development using Unity. For a few months, I was also deeply into building RC flights from scratch—something that was both challenging and exciting.

Later, during my first year at university, I formed a team to participate in Sri Lanka’s first-ever battle bot competition. Interestingly, we were able to reuse the RF transmitter and receiver codebase I had originally built for my RC flights to power the battle bot. That experience brought everything full circle.
Originally, this site was meant to be a portfolio showcasing the projects I worked on—from hobby experiments and freelance gigs to university projects—and also served as my personal blog. However, I took a break from maintaining it, and along the way, I lost my previous hosting data.
This is my attempt to revive those efforts. Once again, this space becomes my personal corner of the internet—a place to share my thoughts, ideas, and whatever I’m building or exploring.
